Bois des Dieux
Bois des Dieux, "Divine Wood", is another name for the highly prized Agarwood or Oud.
It is featured here in a very dense, mysterious and smoky composition, boasting a 40% concentration of the most precious naturals, many of them certified organic and extremely hard to obtain.

Raw Material Info
Many of the raw materials in this perfume are way more expensive than pure gold, because they require an insane amount of labour and time to produce.
Obtaining them is often blood, sweat and tears, for quality naturals can only be bought with quality producers and these have minimum orders that can very easily break my bank account!
Genuine Ambergris, beach combed from the shores of Ireland and Scotland, takes years to cure in the ocean and then, once it's valuable enough to be sold for a fortune, it takes some more years to tincture and break down to the glorious fragrance that does pure magic in a blend.
The value of only the ambergris tincture used in 50 ml of this perfume is about 150 €!
Almost all "Oud" in perfumery is synthetic, but still good enough for a high price tag, once something is labeled "Oud" the customer pays for nothing but name- dropping!
The only legal and sustainable resources for natural Oud are certified farmed trees and that is what I am using.
The cost factor for these is about 60 € / g.
Fossilized Amber Oil, the rare and precious essence of Himalayan Amber (Succinite) is obtained by dry distillation (a heat process) from fossilized resins of the Pinus Succinifera that are about 35 millions of years old, cost about 12 € / g
Rum Absolute retails about 30 € / g,
Their synthetic counterparts can be bought for as little as about 10 € / KILOgram!
The most precious ingredient though is the time that I put into my perfumes and everything that is related to it (another story for another time), which is so many times more than for mass produced stuff that screams "niche" at you on social media, but is nothing than another synthetic cheapo with a lot of bragging and name-dropping about it.
